Food was great - it was open very late and despite that the ambiance was serviceable. Some trash in the parking lot though. One thing I would say is that some of the food was a bit salty - would visit again though.

I have read many positive reviews about Sap from the ATX Yelp Elite Squad, and like so many times before thank you for another great recommendation. What Sap may lack in fancy décor they more then make up in great service and tasty food. Having visited Thailand last year I yearned for that local flavor and Sap did not disappoint. I started with the fresh spring rolls, which were delicious. The peanut sauce really stood out having a deep flavor I rarely experience in other establishments. For my lunch I decided on a unique curry dish with pork ribs and a green curry without coconut milk, infused with kaffir leaf flavor. I loved it. Not quite as rich without the coconut milk. Service was very representative of the ownership. I felt that sweet inner spirit of Thailand from the staff. I can not wait to return and try some different items from the menu.

sometimes it's just too good for the phone to eat first. cute place, amazing food, wonderful service. will definitely be back a second time. the calamari was spiced perfectly, the Panang Beef Curry was just hot enough, with a great cook on the beef. The sparkling passion fruit was refreshing and tasty (and plentiful!) 5/5 all around.

Update: Amazing second visit. Service was calm and friendly and food did NOT disappoint. We decided to try some of the less popular menu items. I myself got the F11 Guay Teaw Kua Gai: Flat rice noodles stir-fried with choice of meat, eggs, bean sprout, pickled radish & mixed soy sauces. Served with green leaf lettuce and sweet & sour sauce. The portion size was quite large, and the flavors were beautifully rich and balanced. Dont sleep on this place!

We were visiting Austin for the weekend and so glad this place came on our radar. It was cozy and not crowded on the 4th. The staff was really friendly and helpful with questions. Everything was delicious, my only regret I not getting the Thai tea and mango sticky rice. The umbrellas on the ceiling was so colorful and Cheery. I will definitely be going back and adding to my list. Great yelp find by my mom

This place hits the craving even though with my limited knowledge of Thai food - I'm on the fence about whether it is authentic or not. Their curry is warm, hearty and flavorful - fitting for a cold windy day. I have tried the Massaman, Penang and Green curry and all of them are quite tasty. The Pad See Ew is spicy (and I mean spppiiicyy because I have pretty good spice tolerance). Its very oily though but it kinda hits the spot if you are craving for a flavor of Thai spices but not really the authenticity. Service is simple and swift. I like this place.
